This American Red Cross class is a two year certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. It is the top certification for lay responders, perfect for educators, parents, workplace training, etc. This course will help to prepare you for any number of first aid situations involving adults, children or infants.
This course is divided into two sections: a free online training accessible at https://www.redcrosslearningcenter.org/s/online-class-registration?Id=a653o0000017h1BAAQ followed by an in-person skill session. Please bring confirmation of online completion to your skill session.

Each class includes a date for your prerequisite Swim Test. You must attend this date and complete the Swim Test to participate in the Lifeguard Class.
This course is the American Red Cross Lifeguarding class, with certification for CPR, and AED for the Professional Rescuer, valid for two years. You must be 15 years old by the last scheduled day of class.
The Lifeguard Certification class is a blended learning course that combines online learning with in-person skills. Please plan to complete all eLearning modules at least two days prior to your first in-person skills session. You will be emailed a link after registration.

This three-day class will certify qualifying individuals as American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructors (LGIs). Experienced Instructor Trainers will coach and polish your lifeguard skills, teaching skills, walk you through the Red Cross materials and systems, even share our experience teaching with water mannequins and social distancing. Our staff of Instructor Trainers is excited to get you started on your path as a Red Cross Instructor, ready to teach a range of lifeguarding and safety classes.
You must be at least 17 years old and have current lifeguard certification with a relatively strong skill level to take the class.

This course is AP-HSSAQU856, the Lifeguarding Instructor Review Course for current or soon to expire LGI’s and LGIT’s. This training will include advice on teaching classes with social distancing, plus hands-on use of in-water mannequins. We’ve taught multiple classes with these new procedures and we are eager to share our experience.

The CPO certification is a leading program that ensures pool operators know how to maintain aquatic facilities and pools that are hazard-free and compliant with public health and safety regulations. This class is perfect for those who manage, own or work at a public pool, spa, gym, hotel, community center or another type of aquatic facility.

This Red Cross Waterfront Skills module teaches certified lifeguards the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to emergencies in nonsurf, open-water areas found at public parks, resorts, summer camps and campgrounds. You will need an active lifeguard certification to take this course, we have several options available for that.
Instructors: upon successful completion of this module you will be able to certify successful students in these skills.
Intended as additional training for current lifeguards, this workshop will enhance your safety skills and knowledge for guarding open water events: triathlons, open water swims, and the like. Participants will practice rescues using kayaks, paddle boards and rescue boards. Participants will train and practice organized dive searches for submerged victims. We will diagram and discuss various event safety plans and how you the guard are one part of the overall event safety team. CANCELLATION/WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Participants must give written notice (forms available at the front desk) at least 48 hours in advance to get a full refund. If you cancel within 48 hours of the class you will be subject to a cancellation fee.
