SwimRVA offers a proven, station-based curriculum.  These stations provide students with skills that are taught and tracked by Richmond’s top aquatic professionals.  Join us this summer and ring the SwimRVA Bell of Success!

SwimRVA-North is one of our SUPER SCHOOL locations-lessons are 40 minutes long.  That is an extra 10 minutes per lesson at the same price! Swim Lessons are $21/lesson for 2 lessons/week ($179/month) .  We prorate the first month!  No extra fees and no cancellation fees.  You can cancel at the end of any month.

The SwimRVA-North Dolphins is a summer league swim team in Richmond, VA

The SwimRVA-North Dolphins are Richmond’s premier summer league swim team, competing in the James River Aquatic Club (JRAC) league and we’re ready for an unforgettable season!

Looking for something FUN, active, and meaningful for your kids this summer? The Dolphins are the perfect place to build skills, confidence, and friendships that last far beyond the pool.

Open to ages 5–18, swimmers will improve technique, stay active, and be part of an encouraging, team-first environment where everyone belongs; whether they’re just getting started or ready to race.

Head Coach:  Adam Huffman

Adam Huffman is excited to join SwimRVA-North this summer and bring his passion for aquatics to the Dolphin team. He spent five years coaching with the Glen Allen Gliders serving as both an assistant and head coach.  He was a competitive swimmer in the JRAC league for 12 years.

Adam also brings three years of experience from the Patrick Henry YMCA, where he worked as a swim instructor and assistant swim team coach. During that time, he helped develop lesson curricula and trained instructors, working with swimmers of all ages and ability levels.

Whether he’s guiding a child through their first moments in the water or helping adults build strength and confidence, Adam is committed to creating a positive, engaging experience for every swimmer. He believes the summer swim season is about more than just performance; it’s about building friendships, confidence, and a love for the water.

Adam is dedicated to fostering a fun, supportive environment focused on individual growth and team camaraderie, and he can’t wait to make a splash with the Dolphins this season!

SwimRVA-North Dolphins Team Fees

Swim Team fees do not include the uniform package which comes with swim suit, swim cap, and team t-shirt.  Uniform packages will be available for purchase for an additional $60(male)/ $80(female) per athlete.
