Yaz’Mynne’s smile can brighten anyone’s day!  Her love for swimming is evident as she comes twice a week and on occasion twice a day–once with Anna Julia Cooper School during the day and with Peter Paul Development Center after school.  Yaz’Mynne began her swimming journey as a 1st grader at Anna Julia Cooper School and as a second grader successfully graduated from swim school.   

Now in third grade Yaz’Mynne has competed in several Community League Meets at SwimRVA.  Recently, she has also taken on the role of assisting swim coaches, where she demonstrates skills and offers advice to her peers at Peter Paul. Throughout her activities, she remains focused and wears a broad smile, reflecting her enthusiasm and celebrating the achievements of her friends.    

We are excited to be a part of Yaz’Mynne’s transformation from swim school participant to competition swimmer to “Junior swim instructor”!
