Swim School Shield

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you promote perpetual, year round, swim lessons at your facility?

Adults and children will learn to swim and be safe in the water at a much faster pace with consistent year-round swim lessons. Our goal is to eliminate the mentality of seasonal swim lessons. That approach usually leads to the loss of gained swim skills, which results in wasted time and money. Perpetual lessons also provide school students with a consistent day and time until they choose to make a change. We don’t rearrange our schedule every 3 months, which provides a more consistent swim lesson experience for both the students and parents.

What happens if I need to switch to another class or cancel my registration?

SwimRVA will be happy to get you into a course that fits your schedule. Changes made more than 10 days prior to the start of the course will not be subject to any fees. If you need to change courses within 10 calendar days of the start of the original class, there will be a $25 change fee. If you must cancel your registration within 10 days, your amount will be refunded less a $50 cancellation fee for lifeguarding and $30 for review courses.
