SwimRVA East Coast Winterfest
This winter wonderland, mid season championship meet features four full days of competition. We will be welcoming over 1400 athletes along the East Coast, from New York to North Carolina.

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Re-Certification Class
The CPO certification is a leading program that ensures pool operators know how to maintain aquatic facilities and pools that are hazard-free and compliant with public health and safety regulations. This re-certification class is structured for those whose certification has expired or will expire soon. The course includes both self-paced online learning content and an in-person testing segment.

Community League Meets
Learn the ropes of USA Swimming meets without the fees, length, or officiating at our Community League meets. Each meet will have a theme, music, great announcing and supportive coaching. These meets are free, fun, and full of smiles!

2026 New Years Challenge
The SwimRVA New Year’s Challenge is about YOU. It is about setting goals for the coming year. No matter if you are a beginning swimmer or just finished crossing the English Channel, this event is YOURS. The measure of success is not how far you swim, but whether you reached YOUR goal and set a NEW GOAL for next year. We hope the New Year’s Challenge is rejuvenating and centers each and every participant on the SUCCESS they will achieve in and out of the pool.

SwimRVA Rapids Starts and Turns Clinics
Starting in October, we will be offering Starts and Turns Clinics for athletes of similar ability levels to our Novice, Advanced Novice, Age Group and Junior Groups. These 1 hour clinics will focus entirely on improving the two areas of swimmers that often make the most difference in a race; the start and the turn(s). Come join SwimRVA as our experienced and skilled coaching staff helps take you and your swimming to new heights!

2026 SwimRVA Down River Rip
Start the open water season off fast with the 2026 Down River Rip! Swimmers completing the 4.4 mile river swim start at Watkins Landing and swim straight down the river, with the current, to Robious Landing Park for an in-water finish. The 2025 event will have wetsuit and non-wetsuit categories.
