SwimRVA’s Summer League Tune-Up Clinics are designed specifically for GRAL, RMAL, CAL, and JRAC swimmers who want to sharpen their strokes, improve starts and turns, and drop time before the first meet. Led by experienced coaches in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, these clinics focus on the technical details that make a big difference on race day.
Perfect for swimmers who already know the strokes but want to gain confidence, speed, and a competitive edge. Get fine-tuned, feel prepared, and hit the blocks ready to race.
SwimRVA is passionate about providing competitive swim team opportunities for all ages. Take a look at our various class levels to find the right fit for your child:
Class 1 Rapids Novice: Novice swimmers must legally know and exhibit experience in the four major strokes. This level is ideal for kids who just finished swimming lessons and are ready to refine their skills and put them to the test.
Class 2 Rapids Advanced Novice: The advanced novice group is swimmers with skills a step above the novice group, yet is still an introduction to competitive swimming.
Class 3 Rapids Age Group: In this group, swimmers work in a more structured and competitive environment. Practices are formed around strength building and clock management, with some dryland workouts built in.
Class 4 Rapids Junior Group: The junior group swim team consists of young, competitive swimmers who focus more on the hidden aspects of training, such as nutrition, time management and adequate sleep.
Class 5 Rapids Pre-Senior Group: Our pre-senior team takes the competition up a level, focusing our practices and efforts on the final competition of the season. During practice times, we encourage and challenge swimmers to reach their full potential, teaching positive self-talk and teamwork.
Class 6 Rapids Senior Group: Being our most advanced level, the senior group swimmers are leaders in and out of the water. Swimmers from this team have graduated to state and national levels.
Senior SPEED: This group focuses on short distance swims – PERFECT for your high school athlete!
