Located in Chesterfield County, SwimRVA serves the Greater Richmond area as a catalyst for regional aquatics and community-wide focus on water safety, health & fitness, sports tourism and competitive swimming.  We offer swimming lessons, water aerobics, aqua running, water polo, CPR & lifeguard certification courses, masters swimming, warm water therapy pool, land fitness classes, and youth triathlon training.

SwimRVA is excited to serve as the new pool and membership operator for the 2018 summer season at The Highlands! SwimRVA is a local non-profit whose mission is to provide high-quality aquatic experiences throughout the Richmond region.  Our flagship year-round facility is not far from the neighborhood at the intersection of Iron Bridge (Route 10) and Chippenham Parkway (Route 150).

The Highlands Pool Membership

Get outside this summer and splash around with your family, friends, and neighbors!

Renew Family Pool Membership:  $510

New Family Pool Membership:  $560 ($510 Membership + $50 Admin Fee)

Senior Couple Pool Membership:  $345 (Requires one spouse to be minimum of 55 and submit a copy of his/her photo drivers license for the first-time qualification)

SwimRVA Swim School at The Highlands

SwimRVA Swim School is offering swim lessons throughout the summer at The Highlands! 

Session Dates ($99 each session):

  • Session 1:  June 18-28 (Monday-Thursday)
  • Session 2:  July 9-19 (Monday-Thursday)
  • Session 3:  July 23-August 2 (Monday-Thursday)
  • Session 4:  August 6-16 (Monday-Thursday)

Pre-School (Ages 3-5):  

  • 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM -AND/OR-
  • 10:05 AM - 10:35 AM -AND/OR-
  • 5:10 PM - 5:40 PM
School Age (Ages 6-12):  
  • 10:40 AM - 11:10 AM -AND/OR-
  • 11:15 AM - 11:45 AM -AND/OR-
  • 5:45 PM - 6:15 PM

SwimRVA Water Fitness at The Highlands

SwiMRVA is excited to offer water aerobics as part of your pool membership this summer! 

Starting May 29, enjoy the following classes:

  • H2O FIT (Shallow Water):  Monday & Wednesdays from 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Great, fun class to increase joint range of motion while increasing cardiovascular health, muscular strength and balance. Targets a wide range of levels including the beginner and those looking for a challenge.
  • AQUACISE (Deep Water):  Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM
  • A medium impact class performed in deep water. This class promotes joint flexibility, the range of motion and agility while building cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. Flotation belts available. You do not have to know how to swim.
Meet Your WELLNESS COACH:  Renee Samaha
Renee graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Sciences and a concentration in Health Assessment & Promotion. She is currently the Senior Wellness Coordinator at SwimRVA where she continues to follow her passion for promoting health and fitness by helping others meet their wellness goals.  Renee strongly believes prevention is the key to success and it is never too late to change your lifestyle if you have the motivation.  Renee practices what she preaches by staying active through an assortment of sports, and she is always looking for new, challenging exercises to incorporate into her workouts.
